Years in Business: Has owned her design firm for 10 years and has over 20 years in interior design experience.

Area of Design Focus: Residential and Commercial design specializing in turn-key design, such as vacation homes, that includes every detail.

Credentials: B.S. Degree. Over 20 years of design experience, also extensive work as an art consultant.

Hobbies/Interests: Kathleen has a background in teaching meditation; specializing in spas, salons, yoga centers, churches and dharma centers.

Kathleen has worked in two furniture stores, which also included interior designing of homes locally and nationally.

Greatest Influences: Her family. Kathleen's experience in furniture stores started with her family: her grandparents, father and uncle all owned their own store. Her brother is also a furniture representative in San Francisco.

Favorite Design Achievements: Kathleen has been featured in "Seattle Homes and Lifestyles" three times and was recently in the book "Spectacular Homes of the Pacific Northwest" with designers from three surrounding states.

Recent Tufenkian Installments: Kathleen has just sold two 8x10 rugs to Alfrian Tan in Issaquah, WA.

Kathleen has said, "I absolutely love working with the Tufenkian products, because of the color, quality and design elements." Kathleen has sold over twenty-eight Mahabad Ruby rugs and is now addressed when entering the showroom as the "Queen of the Mahabad Ruby." She has designed projects in such diverse locations as Los Angeles, Manhattan, Portland, Seattle, Alaska, Japan's Sun Valley, Sun River and Palm Desert.
